Pasco Snowboard
The Pasco Snowboard
Since 1919, this blackboard has recorded winter's first snow fall at the railway depot in Pasco, Washington .  It was started a year after the end of World War 1 and  was moved to a newer depot prior to World War 2.  In 1997, it was removed from the Amtrak depot and placed in the W.S.R.H.S. Railroads Museum.  (The Amtrak depot was closed when Pasco's new Intermodal depot took over operations.)

Many have remarked about the coincidence of the inverted years 1919 & 1991 having the same date for first snow.  The same applies to 1923 & 1932.
